We usually use two kinds of money . One kind is money made of paper and the other kind is money made of metal . But in the past people used many things instead of money . 在Yap这个岛上，人们使用着世界上最重的钱币——Yap的石头。它们外形圆圆的，是白色的，有一个洞在中间。这种Yap石头并不是来自于这个岛上。Yap上的人必须到距岛超过600公里的岛上去取到它们。

Rich people do not carry Yap stones . Servants （仆人）follow the rich . Each servant carries a stone on a long stick over his shoulder （肩） . Today people on the island of Yap use paper money for everyday shopping . But for other things they still prefer Yap stones to paper money .

富裕的人们并不一直携带着Yap的石头。有仆人跟着这些富人。每一个仆人在肩上扛着长棍来携带石头。今天Yap岛上的人们用纸币来购买日常所需的东西。但是，对于其他的东西，他们还是喜欢用Yap的石头超过喜欢纸币。

后面的because是原因状语从句。
